"WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET STUCK" WITH GINNY ROBERTSON

If you attended any On Purpose Networking for Women meetings in January, you had the opportunity to share a dream/goal you have for 2015. And for those of you who didn't attend a Share Your Dream meeting, I know you have some things you want to create, attain, fine tune, let go of, etc.

It's one thing to have the idea and the desire to make things happen...It's another to continually move forward with implementation.

So what's happens when you hit those places where you feel stuck? How do you know when you should persevere or give up? What kind of support do you need and how do you support yourself to get through those times?

Join me for a mini-workshop on how to move forward or how to know when to shift gears or directions. I'll share some tools to use during those times. Bring your burning questions.

Ginny Robertson is President of Ginny Robertson LLC, an organization that “Connects Women Around the World to their Gifts, Their Purpose and Each Other.” She facilitates workshops, conferences and retreats and speaks to large numbers of women’s groups throughout the year. In 2000 she founded On Purpose Networking for Women and is also the Founder, Publisher and Editor of On Purpose Woman Magazine. Ginny is a contributing author to two anthologies: The Spirit of Women Entrepreneurs...Real-Life Stories of Determination, Growth and Prosperity and Conscious Choices...An Evolutionary Woman’s Guide to Life. For 3 years she was the co-host of WomanTalk Live Radio on 680 WCBM in Baltimore and in 2012 was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record.

"NETWORKING FOR INTROVERTS (AND THE EXTROVERTS WHO NETWORK WITH THEM)"
with SUSAN KOHM

Success is never found by trying to be something that we're not. So what are Introverts to do when they are consistently told that they have to "push themselves" to do more networking? Many people talk about introversion as though it is a pathology that Introverts should work harder to get over, while Extroverts are typically praised for their outgoing nature.

At any given networking event, Extroverts may see the Introverts who do show up as "too shy", lacking in self-confidence or distant, while Introverts may view the Extroverts as pushy, lacking in listening skills or too superficial. Stereotypes abound on both sides of the coin and serve no one.

In this eye-opening and encouraging workshop, Susan Kohm will introduce some important concepts and strategies for Introverts to be successful while being themselves. At this powerful event you'll learn:

* What is Introversion and Extroversion and how do they shape our interactions?
* Strategies for mutual success when Introverts and Extroverts meet.
* How to be yourself and be your best

Susan Kohm is Founder of The Handmade Life. Her knowledge of the career change process is not only academic, but based on her own self-reinvention throughout her working life. In addition to founding The Handmade Life five years ago, Susan has led personal growth retreats for adolescents and their families, worked in four different industries, owned three businesses and earned a Master's Degree in International and Intercultural Management. Utilizing the finest gift and talent and personality testing available, she has helped hundreds of men, women and teens design a life they love.

Key Takeaways:

"NAVIGATING CHANGE WITH EASE, GRACE AND FLOW" with ANDREA HYLEN

In the world of science, a "phase transition” is a transformation from one state to another, for example water placed in a freezer turns to ice. In the world of people, phase transition examples are the death of a loved one, a change in a job or income, a new relationship, a move to a new home. For better or for worse, change is happening all the time. So, how do you navigate the changes in life with ease, grace and flow? What are some of the clues that begin to appear when you are in a "phase transition"? What are the steps to take to get to transformation. With story telling, meditation and writing exercises, Andrea will share some of her personal journey and play with you in an interactive process.

Andrea Hylen received the 2013 On Purpose Women award in recognition for her work to support the empowerment of everyday, extraordinary women all over the world.
