"NETWORKING NATURALLY" With GINNY ROBERTSON

When I speak to women's groups I'll sometimes ask how many of them love networking - they can't wait to walk into a room of strangers and start talking with them. A few hands will go up. Then I ask about the other extreme...who would rather crawl naked across broken glass than walk into a room of strangers?" A few hands go up. Everyone else falls in the middle of those two extremes. Maybe they don't love networking, but they don't hate it. Or maybe they enjoy parts of the networking process.

Whether you love it or hate it, if you're in business or looking for a job, you need to network.

Ginny Robertson will share some tips on how to make this process easier and more fun. Bring any burning networking questions or concerns.

Ginny Robertson is President of Ginny Robertson LLC, an organization that “Connects Women Around the World to their Gifts, Their Purpose and Each Other.” She facilitates workshops, conferences and retreats and speaks to large numbers of women’s groups throughout the year. In 2000 she founded On Purpose Networking for Women. There are 8 meetings each month in various Maryland venues, as well as plans to start groups in other states. Designed to assist women in leading richer, fuller lives, the magazine has been in circulation since 2003. She is also a contributing author to two anthologies: The Spirit of Women Entrepreneurs…Real-Life Stories of Determination, Growth and Prosperity and Conscious Choices…An Evolutionary Woman’s Guide to Life. For 3 years Ginny was the co-host of WomanTalk Live Radio on 680 WCBM in Baltimore and in 2012 was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record.

Donna Dettling is a professional organizer, simplicity coach, speaker and artist. The biggest obstacle to your having the life you say you want is…YOU. My workshop will center around helping you Get Out of Your Own Way by gaining clarity on what is important to you and what may be in the way of your creating it. You will leave with a plan and a support team to help implement your plan.

This will be a highly interactive, humorous and uplifting workshop laced with real life applications and the opportunity to make lasting change.
